"One Moment, Lasting Impact": How a Pulitzer Prize-winning photo captured the drama of a river rescue in Iowa. A dramatic rescue at a Des Moines dam in 2009 resulted in a Pulitzer Prize for a photographer, Mary Chind Willie, formerly of the Des Moines Register. But there's more to the story. We will tell you in a special two-part report. As one of the Pulitzer Prize Centennial Campfire events, the Iowa Center for Public Affairs Journalism’s IowaWatch Connection radio program will air another program this coming weekend, Friday through Sunday, May 13-15 (part 1 podcast), and the following weekend, May 20-22 (part 2 podcast), on the following 20 radio stations. The program will also be made available for download as a podcast after it airs.
