Georgina Dodge is the University of Iowa’s Chief Diversity Officer and Associate Vice President, as well as the university’s Title IX Coordinator. She is an adjunct Associate Professor of English, and her scholarly interests include multi-racial literatures, autobiography, and cultural studies. She chairs the Iowa Women in Higher Education Network and serves on the national Board of Directors for the Association of Title IX Administrators. Her community work includes serving on the ACLU Iowa Board of Directors as well as on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties.
Before joining the University of Iowa in 2010, Dodge spent 14 years at Ohio State University. Prior to beginning her academic career, she served a six-year enlistment in the Navy, working as an electronics technician on communications, radar and meteorological equipment.
